Christmas cards

My Aunty, having a plethora of scrapbooking and cardmaking supplies, had me over for a day of Christmas card making. Here's what I got accomplished:

It was  pretty much awesome!
Now...who to give them to...

crossed off the bucket list

So one of the things I've always wanted to do, but never have done till 2 weeks ago, was go explore an old deserted house or barn. We took a little road trip to visit my sisters at college and this one was in the perfect place for us to stop and explore. There wasn't much to it, but nonetheless, it was worth it! Definitely!

Oh and this is some weeds or something growing in the ditch but it looked so awesome with frost clinging to it!

captured treasures

The sisters, Big C and I went on a little photo taking spree last Friday. It was such a beautiful day for November and too much fun! I cannot take credit for the picture of myself, Miss Chan took that one. And Big C took the picture of us sisters. Big C picked the location. I had never been there before but it was a sweet place! Oh and as you may have noticed, the Bradzie got glasses! They're pretty sweet!

skagway, alaska

One thing I loved about Skagway was the wild flowers growing in the alleys!

But the thing I think I enjoyed the most was the rock concert!
I've never heard these guys before but they were really good!

heh! heh!

(Ps: the flower pictures are courtesy of the Bradzie)

the best ever

So probably one of the best things about the cruise was seeing WHALES!!! It was so cool! I freaked out a little bit when I saw them, yelping "Whale! Whale!" when I saw them. We saw dolphins a couple of times and I saw whales only once I think. We saw them right out our balcony window and these are the best shots I got. I would have loved to see them leap out of the water but they never did. They were merely making their presence known. So awesome!

ocean views

Here are some more pictures from our Alaskan cruise. These were just taken from the balcony of our room. I'm not exactly sure where in Alaska these were taken but i do like them quite a lot!

the epic pumpkins

So the Bradzie had the burning desire within her to carve pumpkins.
So November 1st was the day!

Miss Chan, being her creative self cut the top of her pumpkin in the shape of a flower...

whereas the Bradzie, maliciously cleaning out the inside of her pumpkin, cut the top of hers in the shape of a star.

The BF and I chose to make the top of ours into the shape of a cloud!

Miss Chan and her cyclops!

The Bradzie and "Richard Simmons"!

Our pumpkins!

The BF and I had a myriad of fantastical things on ours; a tree, a snowman, a truck, a dinosaur, a platypus, a person, a couple of birds, a sun and a cloud!

flyin' south

I was on my way home from work and I could not peel my eyes away from the sky! I stopped at a little place I like to go to watch the sun set...it was absolutely beautiful! As I was there watching the sun set, a few gaggles of geese came squawking by. There were about five big flocks of them! They were enjoying the sunset too I'm sure! So lovely!

mes soeurs

My sisters are coming home for their reading break!
I missed them...i'm glad they're coming to visit!

ketchikan, alaska

These are some pictures from our Alaskan Cruise in August. We stopped at three different places; Juno, Skagway and Ketchikan. This was the last of the three. It was wet and rainy that day...and we got resonably wet! Good memories though! I just love these pictures!
